INDUSTRIAL VISIT - RUDSETI

The students of final year B.Com & BBA(AM), under the guidance of the faculty members Ms. Bhagyalakshmi C and Dr. Shilpa from the Department of Commerce & Management visited RUDSETI (Rural Development & Self Employment Training Institute) Mysore on 21-02-2022.

Mr. Ravindra – Administrator & senior faculty of RUDSETI addressed the students on the importance of training, initiatives taken by Government of India to start EDP models, eligibility to apply for the training and various short terms Entrepreneurship Skills Development Programmes. Later in the session, he explained about preparing a business plan, goal setting, identifying competencies in business, opportunities & selection of business activities, team building, creating network, marketing, post training follow ups, handling risk & how to put up a business project to avail loans from bank and other financial institutions.

Our students gained knowledge through interaction with director of RUDSETI and also with the people who are undergoing training. They saw the facilities available to undergo training. After this visit our students have gained combined knowledge of theory and practical applicability of Entrepreneurial programmes and also about starting up of their own business.
