ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR FIRST YEAR BCA

The Department of Computer Science conducted an Orientation Program for I year BCA students on 4th September 2023. The first session of the Orientation Program commenced with the rendition of the State Anthem and a solemn prayer to invoke blessings for the event. The Principal, Dr. C J Priya emphasized the importance of quality education and encouraged the students to make the most of their time at the institution. And the rules and regulations of the college were briefed to the students. Ms. Savitha K V, Assistant Professor& Head, Department of Computer Science provided insights into the BCA course and explained how it aligns with the New Education Policy (NEP). She discussed the curriculum and the opportunities that the BCA program offers to students. Mr. Mohan Kumar L P, Physical Education Director shared their perspectives and guidance with the new students and highlighted the activities organized by the sports department. Ms. Pushpa, Librarian briefed the resources available in the library.

The second session was handed over to Mr. Mohammed Bilal Siddiqui, the CEO of Atarva Groups, Mysore. He shared his experiences, career journey, and the importance of ambition and perseverance in the professional world. He conducted personality development activity for the students. Session ended with Feedback from Students. Ms. Harshitha N, Assistant Professor, department of Computer Science expressed gratitude on behalf of the department and students to all the dignitaries, faculty members and students for their presence and support.
