FN Session : Air Traffic Control

Mr. Vignesh, OFAA delivered an informative session on Air Traffic Control (ATC), a vital component of aviation operations. The session covered the basics of ATC, including the responsibilities of air traffic controllers, the technology used in air traffic management, and the procedures followed to ensure safe and efficient aircraft movements. Students learned about the different types of airspace, the role of radar and communication systems, and the coordination required between pilots and controllers to manage air traffic. AN Session : Flight Simulator Experience

In the afternoon, students had the opportunity to experience a flight simulator, led by Capt. Chintan. This hands-on session allowed students to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, simulating various flight scenarios and understanding the decision-making process that pilots undergo during flights. The flight simulator experience was a highlight of the seminar, providing students with a real-world perspective on the challenges and responsibilities of piloting an aircraft.

Case Studies: The final session of the seminar involved analyzing case studies related to the aviation industry. Led by Ms. Daisy Fathima and Mr. Rijo Johnson, students were encouraged to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios, discussing various issues such as safety incidents, customer service challenges, and operational disruptions.
