“DRUG-FREE MYSURU” SESSION
The NSS Unit of the college organized an awareness session on “Drug-Free Mysuru” on 17thFebruary 2026, in association with Mysuru City Police, JP Nagar Police Station. The programme was conducted to educate students about the importance of staying drug-free and creating awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse. The session was addressed by the police officials, namely Yogananjappa, Harish, Maruthi, and Ramesh. They explained the dangers of drug abuse, preventive measures, and the legal consequences related to narcotic substances. They also encouraged students to take responsibility for promoting a drug-free society. The programme successfully created awareness among students about the importance of maintaining a healthy and drug-free lifestyle and highlighted the collaborative efforts between the NSS Unit and Mysuru City Police in promoting youth awareness and prevention initiatives.
