Dr. C  J. Priya, M.Com., M.Phil., Ph.D., UGC NET
Principal

Dr. C. J. Priya is presently serving as the Principal of Hindustan College.  Earlier she served as a Principal of First Grade College, Murnad.  She was awarded Ph.D., in the year 2016 by Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.  Her research interest is focused on “Customer Relationship Management Strategies initiated by select banks in Coimbatore City”.  She has carried out several tasks connected in this area which includes research and publications at State and National Level.  She was awarded M.Phil degree in the 2007 and was qualified for UGC-NET in 2011.  She has over 17 years experience working in different institutions and has presented the research papers in State and National Conferences.  She has contributed with her ability to plan, organise and execute meticulously various curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes in the college and was awarded as the Excellent Organising Teacher in the year 2007.  Apart from academics, she has been awarded for creating awareness and assisting in raising funds for the case of needy.  She has also focused in writing poems and she was awarded for the successful participation in Dasara Poets Meet during the year 2010.  Dr. C. J. Priya, with her dynamism and efficiency is certainly an important part of Hindustan College’s vision and dreams for the future.

Dr. Kruthi R, M.Sc, M.Phil, Ph.D
Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science

Dr. Kruthi R has 7 years of teaching experience at various Institutions. She has served as an Assistant Professor for Post Graduate Students for three years and has a experience of teaching PUC students for 4 years. She has worked as Examination Department Head and Co-coordinator in SAN International School. She completed Ph.D. at Jain (Deemed-to-be-University), Bangalore in the year 2020. Her research interest is focused on “Fingerprint Pattern Analysis for Gender Identification and Classification Using Image Processing Techniques”. Dr. Kruthi R has published several papers in National and International journals like IJSER, IJARCS, IJCIR, IJIRSRT, IJARCSSE, IJCSE and IJDSA etc., She was awarded M. Phil degree with distinction in the year 2014 by Jain (Deemed-to-be-University), Bangalore and published a journal in SIPIJ. She is a distinction holder at Masters of Science from Manasagangotri, University of Mysore and has published a research paper at IASIR in 2013 which made the initiative to the research field by collecting more than 5000 fingerprints dataset from rural and urban part of Karnataka with different age groups.

She has actively participated in number of conference and workshops. She has presented her research work in “Research retreat exploring pathways, unlocking ideas” conducted by Jain University, Bangalore in 2017 and 2019, presented a paper and published in “International Conference on sustainable advanced computing” in 2018 conducted by Christ University, Bangalore. She has attended 5 days international level workshop “Global Initiative of Academic Networks” conducted by Mangalore University, Mangalore, “International Conference on Cognition and Recognition” organized by MIT Mysore in 2016, “State level seminar on Digital Image Processing and Pattern Recognition”, “One day state level seminar on Digital Image Processing and Pattern Recognition” and “UGC sponsored National Conference on Recent Trends in Information Technology” in Government College Mandya, Autonomous under Mysore University.

Dr. Gururaja Rao, M.A., B.Ed., SLET, Ph.D. D.Lit.
Assistant Professor, Department of Sanskrit

He has 18 years of teaching experience in various Institutions. He served as a Asst. Teacher, Head Master, HOD., Visiting Faculty, Lecturer and Chairman in different reputed Institutions. He is a Gold Medalist in his Master Degree. He has published 13 books in Sanskrit. He has presented more than 10 paper s in International Level, National Level and State Level Conference and Seminars. He has participated in more than 50 Conference, Seminars and Workshops in International, National, State and Regional Level. Four research scholars have persuaded their Ph.D. under his guidance. He has participated in many Academic Programmes like BOE member in Sanskrit, Delivered several special lectures in various institutions, Delivered few talk at AIR, Resource person and Chief Guest for various academic programmes, Coordinator and editor of Sanskrit- Kannada Dictionary and also Directed and screen played many dramas. He has received many Honours like “RAJAGURU”, “SRI KRISHNA VADIRAJA ANUGRAHA”, “BEST DIRECTOR” and “RAJIV GANDHI EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARD” from New Delhi.

Mr. Eshwar V, M.Com., K-SET
Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce & Management

Sri Eshwar V is one of the youngest academicians; he has done Masters in Commerce from University of Mysore and a distinction holder at his Bachelor of Commerce from University of Mysore. He has also cleared Karnataka Sate Eligibility Test for Lecturer/Assistant Professorship also has cleared CA CPT.

He has worked as lecturer/Asst Professor in various reputed colleges in the city of Mysore, affiliated to University of Mysore, Mysuru, teaching the commerce students from PU to PG. He was also a visiting faculty at The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) Mysore Chapter, for CS Foundation Students, Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) Mysore Chapter for ICAI  Inter student. He is also a resource person for Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme at Rudset Institute Mysuru.
He has published three papers in ISSN Journal. Apart from teaching, he also does the work of tax return preparer and also independent tax consultant and portfolio advisor for individual salaried class.

Apart from being a good educator he has also the exposure of working in various committees at reputed colleges viz Internal Test Committee, Member Editorial Board of college annual magazine, he also have the exposure to examination related work and also NAAC and Autonomy related activities in his previous institution.

Ms. C Bhagyalakshmi,  M.Com., MFAM., ADHRM., KSET
Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce & Management

Ms. Bhagyalakshmi is a Post Graduate from University of Mysore and a distinction holder at her graduation.  She also holds an Advance Diploma in Human Resource Management and qualified KSET.  She holds two years experience working for a corporate sector and has 6.5 years experience in teaching field.  She had participated and presented papers with ISBN in several State and National Level Seminars, Workshops and Conferences. She has attended various State Level Faculty Development Programmes organised by reputed institutions.  She has a flair for teaching various theory and practical subjects and actively participates in all the curricular and co-curricular activities of the college. She is UGC NET qualified. Serving as BOS member for BBA Aviation Management, Member of B. Com board Evaluation, University of Mysore.

RAGHUNANDAN G H. M.COM., K-SET
Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce and Management

He has completed his Masters in Commerce with the specialisation of Taxation from Govt.college(Autonomous),Mandya with merit seat which is affiliated to University of Mysore.

He is a distinction holder in Masters as well as Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mysore. He also cleared Karnataka State Eligibility Test during the year 2019. He holds 2 years of experience in the field of teaching. He had participated in several workshops and conferences conducted by University of Mysore.

Mrs. Savitha K V, M.Sc. (I.T.), K-SET 
Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science

She has 9.5 yrs of teaching experience in the Department of Computer Science at various recognised institutions. She attended 10 days training on “Personality Development” programme organized by College for Leadership and Human Resource Development, Mangalore. She had actively involved in HRD Programmes of the college imparting communication and Personality Development aspects. Trained the High School students on “Personality Development” for three-day in Institute of Education High School, Kuvempunagar, Mysore and Hemavathi High School, TK Layout, Mysore. She had guided the students for the “Data Base” project for the Science Day organized by the Science Departments, SBRR Mahajana First Grade College. She has attended various National and State level workshops and seminars. She has published and presented papers at National Conference. She has attended several Seminars, Workshops, Conferences organized by different colleges of Mysore University.

Mrs. Sukshma R D, MCA
Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science

Ms.Sukshma is a Post Graduate and a Distinction holder from Visveswaraya Technology University. She has 6 years of teaching experience in the Department of Computer Science working at various recognized institutions. Also, she holds the experience of working as Application Engineer in Wipro Infotech Ltd and as a Project Committee Coordinator for International Conference (ICTMGE 2013) organized by VTU PG Centre, Mysuru. She has attended various National and State level workshops and seminars organized by different colleges affiliated to  University of Mysore.  Also, she has presented and published papers at National Conference.

Mr.Sandeep N K, MCA

Mr. Sandeep N K has done his Post Graduation in Computer Application.  He has 4.5 years experience in Department of Computer Science from a recognized institution. He has good experience in teaching for both UG and PG course. He has presented  papers in National conference and he has been member of co-curricular & extra-curricular committees.  He is proficient in developing new lessons and activities to expand learning opportunities that enables the students to be Industry ready.  He has provided guidance to the students for developing their career and making them familiar with different career opportunities.

Mrs. Nagashri S, M.A English and MCJ (Mass Communication and Journalism) 
Assistant Professor, Department of English

Ms.Nagasri.S. is proficient in developing new lesson activities and has an excellent knowledge of the subject and is eminent in rendering conceptual knowledge. She has an extensive participation in various committees and extra-curricular activities.  She has presented paper entitled “Challenges of Teaching English at Undergraduate level- An appraisal” at MMK and SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya. She has presented and published articles on “Need of smart libraries at Educational institutions” and “The social issues in Girish Karnad’s play “Nagamandala”.  She has also been invited as a resource person to deliver special lecture on “William Wordsworth’s. tables turned” and “RK Narayan’s novel-the financial expert”. She has actively participated in text book making process of I Semester B.Com/BBA prescribed by University  of Mysore.  She has been invited by various colleges to judge competitions such as debate, paper presentations, turn coats etc., She has successfully organised workshops for teaching faculty and students, literary – cultural- management fests and various special lectures.

Mr. Raghavendra C S, M.A Kannada, B.Ed., NET, K-SET, TET

Mr. Raghavendra C.S is a self confident, dedicated and hard worker. He has received his Post Graduation in Kannada Literature from University of Mysore. He has an experience of 6 years, working at various PUC and Degree colleges. He is qualified for UGC NET, K-SET, and TET in the 2013. He has actively participated at various National level and State level online quiz.

He has published 6 Articles, 2 stories in Nairuthya monthly magazine. Apart from teaching, he is also focused towards writing poems in Kannada language.

Ms. S Savitha, M.A Hindi
Assistant Professor, Department of Hindi

Ms. S. Savitha is a self confident, dedicated and hard worker.  She has done her Post graduation in Hindi from University of Mysore.  She has an experience of 21 years working in PUC and Degree colleges.  She has attended Hindi work shop for non-Hindi neo Hindi writers at Konark which was conducted by Central Hindi Directorate, Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi.  She is specialized in story and poetry translation.  Apart from teaching, she is also focussed towards writing poems and articles in Hindi and Kannada language.

Mr. Rahul Dev S, M.Sc in Environmental Science

Mr. Rahul Dev S has received Master’s Degree in Department of studies in Environmental Science, Manasa Gangothri, University of Mysore.

He has attended “Centre for proficiency development and placement services” (CPDPS) conducted by Department of Library science, University of Mysore and “Special lecture series” conducted by Department of Environmental Science, University of Mysore. Apart from his job, he also has hobby of planting saplings in streets & he has gifted various saplings and medicinal plants in several events.

Ms. R Rashmi B.A.L., LL.M., L.L.M.,
Assistant Professor for the course ‘Constitution of India’

Ms. Rashmi R is a self confident, dedicated and hard worker.  She has completed her L L B degree from S B R R Mahajana Law College, Mysore in the year 2012.  She was awarded      L L M degree by Karnataka State Open University in 2016.  She secured 1^st rank in B A L degree  & L L B degree from University of Mysore.   She has 3 years teaching experience working in a reputed Law College.  She has the tendency to complete assignments ahead of schedule and has a good analytical & reasoning capability.

Mrs. Dhanalakshmi R, MLISc, UGC  NET, K- SET
Librarian

She has done masters in Library and Information Science from University of Mysore. She secured 1^st Rank for M.LISc., with 4 Gold Medals with Distinction for University of Mysore in 2012. She has also cleared UGC NET and K-SET  in 2013.

She has 5 years of experience as a Librarian. She has attended International Conference and Workshop on Library Science.

Mr. Mohan Kumar L P, M.A, M.Ped, K-Set
Physical Education Director

He has 16 years of experience as Physical education Director. He has worked in State board/CBSE/ICSE schools in Bangalore, Tiptur, and Mysore and Sharada Vilas PUC and Degree Colleges.Under his guidance the students of CBSE have represented national level Kho-Kho tournament and Badminton tournament. In Sharada Vilas College, under his guidance students have represented university, State level and National level tournaments in Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Basket ball, Hand ball and Ball Badminton games.

He has successfully organised Annual Sports meet in Schools and colleges. Has organised University Inter College tournament. He has worked as a Team Manager and Coach at PUC State level tournament. He was member of University of Mysore Examination and worked as a Team Leader of a Flying Squad.

He has attended many State and National Level seminars and has presented 10 papers in the same. One of his papers has been published in International Journal 2016-17. He has attended a 10 days Orientation program conducted by ISAC, Bangalore.
