FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, the NSS unit of Hindustan College in association with Y’s Men’s club of Mysuru Chamundi & Youth and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangatham, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports organized FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN 2.0 on 2nd October 2021. The event was inaugurated by Somshekhar S T, State Co-operative minister and Mysuru District Incharge, Gautham Bagadhi, Deputy Commissioner, Mysuru.

The NSS volunteers took an active part in the run that aimed at promoting fitness and creating awareness amongst all. After taking the ‘Fit India’ pledge, the participants ran from Chamundi Vihar stadium to the Gandhi Square, passing through the Urs Road, District Office, Ovals Grounds, the Ramaswamy Circle, Kuppana Park and the Stadium. All the participants were provided with Certificates, T shirts and Breakfast.

NSS coordinator Ms. Sukshma R D, Physical Education Director Mr. Mohan Kumar L P, along with the staff and students members rendered their assistance in conducting the program in a successful manner.
