FRESHER'S ORIENTATION PROGRAMME-2025 (Commerce)

The Department of Commerce organized a two-day Freshers’ Orientation program on 3rd and 4th July, 2025, for the first-year B.Com students. The Principal addressed the students, encouraging them to approach college life with discipline, enthusiasm, and active participation beyond the classroom. The Chief Guest, Mr. S Ranganathan, Chief Finance Officer, Automotive Axles Ltd., Mysore, inspired students with practical insights. He emphasized the importance of skill development and advised students to learn tools such as SAP and gain hands-on experience in accounting and GST practices.

On the second day, students participated in a two-hour soft skills training session conducted by a team from VLead, Mysore. The session focused on building communication, confidence, and interpersonal skills-essential for personal and professional development. The two-day Orientation Program laid a foundation for the incoming batch, equipping them with valuable insights, motivation, and essential skills.
