MEGA TREE PLANTATION DRIVE

On 5th June 2025, the NSS Unit of Hindustan College, in collaboration with Ys Men’s Club of Mysuru Chamundi, Youth Red Cross, and the Rotaract Club of Hindustan, organized a Mega Tree Plantation Drive to commemorate World Environment Day. The event was held at the Hindustan Educational and Charitable Trust premises in Belikere, Mysuru. The program was inaugurated by Principal Dr. C. J. Priya and Special Officer Mr. Abel Mathew Prasad, who planted the first saplings. Staff, NSS volunteers, and student participants collectively planted several saplings and installed protective tree guards to ensure their growth. The drive not only contributed to environmental preservation but also instilled a sense of ecological responsibility and community service among the participants.
