ONAM CELEBRATION

The cultural committee of the college organized a colorful and religiously bound event, Onam, on September 6, 2025, on the campus. The event commenced with a traditional Mohiniyattam dance, setting a graceful tone for the day’s festivities. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was performed by the Principal, Special Officer, and other dignitaries, marking an auspicious beginning.The celebration featured a variety of cultural performances that beautifully showcased Kerala’s rich traditions and student talent. The program included Thiruvathirakali, Puli Kali, Group dances, and songs, which brought liveliness, creativity, and harmony to the stage.A major highlight of the event was the KasavuPaatha (ramp walk), where participants presented Kerala’s traditional attire with elegance and pride, celebrating the essence of Onam.To further enrich the festive spirit, traditional Onam games such as Uri Adi and Vadam Vali were organized, encouraging active student participation and promoting teamwork. The celebration was a success, beautifully blending tradition, culture, music, and joy.
