SAMSKRUTHA HASTHAPRATHI PRADARSHANI

The Department of Languages (Sanskrit), in collaboration with Vishwa Chetana Sanskrita Pathashala (Affiliated to Sanskrit University), organized a display titled “Samskrita Hastaprati Pradarshini” on 17th Sep., 2025, at the college auditorium. The exhibition aimed to showcase the rich heritage of ancient Sanskrit manuscripts and promote awareness about their preservation and cultural significance. The event was inaugurated by Dr. H. V. Nagaraja Rao, a distinguished Sanskrit scholar, who emphasized the importance of digitization and conservation of palm-leaf manuscripts, copper plates, and handwritten scriptures for future generations. The display featured a variety of rare manuscripts, including palm-leaf texts, copper plate inscriptions, and illustrated works depicting mythological and cultural themes. The scholar explained the traditional techniques of manuscript writing and preservation. The event witnessed active participation from students, faculty members, and scholars, creating an atmosphere of academic curiosity and cultural appreciation.
