SPECIAL LECTURE PROGRAM ON “MEDIA AND DEVELOPMENT COMMUNICATION”

On 6th June 2025, the Postgraduate Department of Commerce conducted a Special Lecture Program on “Media and Development Communication”.  The session was led by Dr. Naveen, Associate Professor, who delivered a compelling talk on the critical role media plays in facilitating socio-economic development. He explored the concept of development communication and how it is applied across key areas like rural upliftment, agriculture, public health, and education. The lecture highlighted the impact of both traditional and modern digital media in influencing public opinion and promoting government schemes.

Postgraduate students actively participated in discussions, expressing their perspectives on how media can be used as a tool for awareness, empowerment, and national development. The session proved to be deeply insightful and thought-provoking.
