WEBINAR ON “EMPOWERING YOUR B.COM JOURNEY: TOOLS, TIPS & INSIGHT”

On 4th June 2025, the Department of Commerce and Management hosted a webinar titled “Empowering Your B.Com Journey: Tools, Tips & Insight” targeting newly admitted B.Com students and aspirants. The session was delivered by CA B.V. Mahesh, a practicing Chartered Accountant at MTR & Co., Mysuru. He shared expert advice on how students can shape successful careers in commerce by pursuing professional courses like CA, CS, CMA, and Company Law. He emphasized the importance of early planning, time management, and focused academic progression. The session also delved into the various industry expectations and opportunities available to commerce graduates in corporate finance, taxation, auditing, and consulting. Students participated enthusiastically in the Q&A segment, where they clarified doubts regarding course eligibility, exam structure, and job roles, finding the session highly motivating and practical.
