WEBINAR ON “NAVIGATING CAREER PATH IN TECH”

On 3rd June 2025, the Department of Computer Science organized a thought-provoking webinar titled “Navigating Career Path in Tech” specifically curated for new and prospective BCA students. The objective was to provide clarity and direction to those embarking on a journey in the field of information technology. Mr. Srinivas, a Data Science Consultant and Lead Trainer at A-Cube, Mysore, shared current trends in the tech world including the impact of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, and Cyber Security across industries such as finance, healthcare, and marketing. He spoke about the importance of acquiring domain-specific technical skills alongside soft skills to succeed in a competitive environment. Students were encouraged to explore certification programs and internships to gain practical exposure. The session included an interactive dialogue where doubts regarding programming languages, course roadmaps, and career choices were addressed, creating a strong foundation for informed decision-making.
