A ONE-DAY SEMINAR

The Department of Computer Science organized a seminar on ‘Cryptography and Network Security’ on September 23.Mr. Sunil Kumar R., Software Architect at Alstom India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, was the resource person. He delivered an engaging and informative lecture on the theme and explained the basic concepts of encryption and decryption, different cryptographic algorithms, and their applications in securing digital communication. He highlighted the importance of network security, demonstrating common threats and practical methods to safeguard systems. The interactive discussion at the end motivated students to explore advanced topics in cryptography and cybersecurity.
