FACULTY EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM ON "OPTIMUM UTILISATION OF E-RESOURCES IN LEARNING & TEACHING

A Faculty Empowerment Program on “Optimum Utilisation of EResources for Learning and Teaching” was organised by IQAC on 30/11/2020. The objective of the webinar was to provide information on online teaching and techniques for faculties and research scholars from various streams. Dr. S. Cloudin, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, KCG College of Technology, Chennai, who has more than 16 years of experience in teaching, was invited as a resource person for the webinar. Mrs. Savitha KV, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science welcomed the participants and gave a brief introduction about the session. The resource person, Dr. S. Cloudin briefed the various learning strategies through online mode. He highlighted the various tools available to create course brochures, challenges in digital education and explained about the methods to evaluate and motivate the students for online classes. The resource person shared the link which helps in reducing the size of the video file. The session concluded with a thanking note by Ms. Savitha KV, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, HFGC.
