INTRA-COLLEGIATE LITERARY COMPETITION
The Department of Kannada conducted “Thavanidhi”, an Intra-College Literary Competition on 23rd January 2026. The competition aimed to promote appreciation of Halegannada (Old Kannada) and Hosagannada (Modern Kannada) literature. Halegannada Paṭhya Odu Vyakhyana and Hosagannada Kavithe OduVyākhyāna were the events. A total of 23 students participated, demonstrating strong literary understanding and interpretative skills. The program concluded with encouraging remarks from the faculty, emphasizing the importance of preserving Kannada literary heritage.
