IT SKILL TRAINING PROGRAM

The Department of Computer Science, in association with ICT Academy and IBM Skill Build, organized a four-day advanced IT skills training program on “AWS Cloud” from 19th to 22nd January2026. The program was led by Mr. N. Sabarish RameshKumar, Technical Trainer, IBM, Bangalore. A total of40 students actively participated in the program, which combined lectures, demonstrations, hands-on lab sessions, and assessments.

Day 1 (19th Jan) focused on cloud computing fundamentals, AWS services, cloud economics ,billing, and the AWS Shared Responsibility Model.

Day 2 (20th Jan) covered AWS security, networking, VPC design, compute services, and EC2hands-onlabs.

Day 3 (21st Jan) emphasized AWS storage and database services, including EBS, S3, EFS, RDS, DynamoDB, and Redshift.

Day 4 (22nd Jan) focused on Elastic Load Balancing, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, and cloud architecture best practices, followed by an assessment session. The program significantly enhanced students’ technical skills, industry readiness, and understanding of cloud-based career opportunities.
