NATIONAL LEVEL INTER COLLEGIATE HACKATHON COMPETITION

The Department of Computer Science, Hindustan College organized a National Level Inter Collegiate HACKATHON event on 23rd June 2022. 20 teams consisting of 40 participants actively took part from various institutions. Mr. Sunil Kumar N, Software Developer, Alstom, Bangalore was invited as a Mentor for the event. Dr. S.K. Niranjan, Professor, Dept. of Computer Applications, JSS Science & Technology University, Mysuru, and Mr. Manjunath B, HoD & Assistant Professor, Dept. of Computer Applications, Maharaja Institute of Technology, Mysuru were invited as Jury members. The event was conducted from 8.00 a.m. to 6 p.m. The first 8 hrs time period was given to the students for developing an application on “Revolutionize the Shopping Experience”. The last 2 hrs were given time to share their ideas, and present the re-implementation of an application based on the theme. The Jury members interacted with each team and evaluated based on their creativity, ideas, design, and implementation. The following students were announced as the winners of the completion and were awarded with the cash prize.

1.I PRIZE: Cash Prize of Rs. 5000 with a trophy was awarded to Preman and RG & Shrinivasa Prasada, Lal Bahadur Arts & Science College Shimoga.

2.II PRIZE: Cash Prize of Rs. 3500 with a trophy was awarded to Prajwal Rao & Nadana Pramod, Sheshdripuram First Grade College, Mysuru.

3. III PRIZE: Cash Prize of Rs. 2000 with a trophy was awarded to Rishin Aiyappa AG & Mohammed Uzair, St. Joseph’s First Grade College, Mysuru.
