FACULTY EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM ON "PUBLISH OR PERISH"

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Hindustan First Grade College had conducted a Faculty Empowerment Program on the Importance of Publication titled “Publish or Perish”. The resource person and participants from various colleges were connected through Google meet. Dr. Harshavardhana B, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce and Management welcomed the participants and gave a brief introduction about the program. Dr. C J Priya, Principal addressed the participants highlighting the importance of the program and emphasized upon the initiation taken by Hindustan College in conducting several programs that benefits a wide spectrum of the academic arena. The resource person Dr. Gireesh Y M, Department of MBA, Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumakuru highlighted the value of publication and spoke about different avenues of publications. At the end of the program, the participants were allowed to ask questions or seek any clarifications with respect to the topic of discussion. After answering to several questions, Dr. Gireesh then took a quick feedback from the participants. The program ended with a thanking note by Dr. Harshavardhana B.
