WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
World Environment Day was celebrated by the NSS unit of Hindustan College in association with Y’s Men Club of Mysore Chamundi & Youth on 6th June 2022. The main purpose of the celebration was to spread awareness about the need to protect the environment and the ways to do it. The day was flagged off by a sapling plantation drive in the locality. The Principal Dr. Priya, NSS Officer Sukshma R D along with the Staff and students inaugurated the program. As a prequel to the celebrations, the NSS unit of Hindustan College organized a Pencil Sketch competition for the students on the theme titled “Pollution v/s Solution”. Asst. Prof. Raghavendra C S judged the event and the following students were announced as the winners of the competition.
