Workshop On Taxation Post Budget 2019

On 15th July 2019, Hindustan First Grade College organized a special lecture program on “Taxation – Post Budget 2019”. The programme commenced with a welcome address and brief note on the program by the Program Coordinator Mr. Eshwar, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Commerce & Management. C A Tharun Kothari was invited as a resource person who in his address highlighted the taxation implication for salaried individual, slab and other deductions. He also stated the taxation on capital gain, corporate tax and the issue related to buy back of shares. The resource person explained the procedures in connection with the  preparation of Annual Budget and he shared his  personal view about the budget 2019. The programme concluded with an interesting and interactive question and answer session. The Principal, Dr. C. J. Priya, Special Officer Mr. Abel Mathew Prasad, faculties and students of Commerce & Management Department were present during the programme.
