FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME ON AI TOOLS FOR TEACHING AND RESEARCH

The Department of Computer Applications organized a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “AI Tools for Teaching and Research” on 26th September 2026.

Ms. Nagasree, Cyber Security Technical Manager and Analyst, BIT ARMORA Technologies Pvt. Ltd., served as the Resource Person.

The session focused on the practical use of Artificial Intelligence in lesson planning, content creation, assessment, research, academic writing, and presentations. Faculty members participated in hands-on activities using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, NotebookLM, ResearchRabbit, Gemini, and Scite. The FDP provided valuable practical exposure and enhanced faculty members’ understanding of AI-based tools for improving teaching effectiveness and research productivity.
