NSS Inauguration

The NSS unit of our college was inaugurated on 21st August 2019. The NSS unit of our  College aims at developing the student’s personality through community service. The overall objective of NSS is educational and the objective is achieved through theservice to the community. NSS unit was inaugurated by Dr. B. Chandrashekara, NSS Coordinator, University of Mysore, Mysuru. The guest in his speech made the NSS volunteers aware the need to work for the progress of the nation. He emphasized the significance of NSS unit and its motto “Not Me But You”. Dr. C. J.Priya, Principal in her presidential address insisted the students to be socially active and responsible person and they can be able to stand up different among the crowd. Further she advised the students to learn the skills and qualities like leadership and teamwork among people with different streams and also informed the students about assuming social and civic responsibilities and carrying the mout fruitfully. Ajay M, NSS Coordinator briefed the proposed list of activities to be undertaken for the academic year 2019-20. The chief guest Dr. Chandrasekhara B was honored by Mr. Abel Mathew Prasad, Special Officer. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Ms. Harini, II B.Com.
