WEBINAR ON “HANDS ON APPROACH ON NETWORKING”

The Department of Computer Science organized a webinar titled “Hands on approach on Networking” on 22ndJune 2021. The resource person, Dr. P. N. Renjith, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai explained the evolution of network, explained how OSI layer works with an example, types of IP address and highlighted the importance of types of network. He also described and showed how packets are sent from one node to another node, explained how to establish a LAN connection, the importance of router and switches. The Program Convenor Ms. Savitha, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Computer Science, Hindustan College concluded the session with a thanking note.
