FRESHERS’ ORIENTATION PROGRAMME - 2021

Hindustan College organized an Orientation programme for the newly admitted students on 21st October 2021. The major objective of the programme was to make the parents and students aware of the academic aspects of the course and to ensure parental participation in monitoring the performance and progress of the students. The formal programme began with the welcome by Dr. Harshavardhan, Asst. Prof, Dept. of Commerce & Management followed by the State Anthem rendered by the staff and students.

Rev. Prakash Abraham, Vicar, St Marthoma Church invoked the blessings of the Almighty by a prayer. The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Prof. Suresh. Chief Executive, JSS Law College, Mysore, Guest of honour Sri. Srihari, Founder, GSS Foundation, & Manager, St. Thomas Institutions, Mysuru and other dignitaries.

A Memorandum of Understanding was exchanged between Hindustan College and JSS Law College during the Orientation Programme.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks rendered by Sukshma R D, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Computer Science. The faculties namely, Savitha K V, Bhagyalakshmi C, Dr. Shilpa, Raghunandan G H, Pradeep Kumar D, Dhanalakshmi R, Manjula, Sujendra Y along with staff and students rendered their assistance in conducting the programme successfully. Ms. Nagasri S. Assistant Professor, Department of English was the Master of the Ceremony.
