The Department of Computer Science organized a special lecture on “Optimizing Software Performance: Strategies and Best Practices” on 5th August 2025, for Second Year BCA students. The session was aimed at providing practical insights into performance optimization in software development. Ms. Nagashree Nagaraj, Business Application Quality Manager at Sudhanand Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (SBPL), Mysuru, was the resource person of the event. The insight was on the importance of performance optimization in ensuring speed, efficiency, and reliability of applications. The key strategies, such as code optimization, algorithm design, quality assurance, and best practices in the Software Development Life Cycle, were discussed. Drawing from her industry experience, she shared real-world examples that bridged classroom learning with professional practices.
