CHIRANTANA-2025

The Literary Club of the Department of Languages (Kannada) organized ‘Chirantana’, a State-Level Inter-College Literary Competition, on August 29, 2025. The events included Classical Song Singing, Folk Song Singing, and a Quiz on Kannada Literature. The competitions aimed to familiarize students with lyrical songs, highlight the richness of folk literature rooted in people’s experiences, and promote general knowledge in Kannada literature.

Folk song singing:

1^st Place: Divija Bharadhwaj, SDM College
