THROWBALL TOURNAMENT

The Sports Club of the college organized an Inter-departmental throwball tournament on 25^th October 2025.  After a series of exciting matches, the 2^nd year BCA ‘B’ section emerged as the winners, and the 3^rd year BCA ‘B’ secured the runners-up position.  The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from all departments, creating a competitive atmosphere on the campus.

Faculty members’ academic achievements:

• Shivakumar R., HOD, Assistant Professor of Kannada, and Mr. Paramesha K., Assistant Professor of Kannada, attended a one-day National-level workshop on ‘Kannada Basha BodaneyaHosaSavalugalumattuSadhyategalu’, organized by Christ College, Mysuru, on 06^th October 2025.
• Banupriya A., Assistant Professor of Commerce and Management, participated in an online national-level workshop on ‘Plagiarism-free Writing in PhD Research and Paper Publishing’, organized by the Institute for Scholarly Research and Training, Chennai, on 18^th October 2025.
• Paramesha K., Assistant Professor of Kannada, was invited as a judge for an inter-school Kannada debate and Folk singing competition – 2025, organized by St. Joseph’s Central School, Vijayanagar, Mysuru, on 18^th October 2025.
• Shivakumar R., HOD, Assistant Professor of Kannada, published a research article on ‘Vachana Sahitya: Nanna Drushtiyalli’, in a book Sharanamarga, ISSN No. 2455-1546, Vol. No. 12, Issue 03, a Kalaburgi-based periodical.
• Paramesha K., Assistant Professor of Kannada, attended a state-level poetry workshop on ‘State Level Sanvithi Kannada Kavya SambramadaKavigoshti’, organized by Rotary Club Mysuru, Mysuru West, on 26^th October 2025.

Students’ curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricularachievements:

• S. Varshini, a student of the 1^st year BCom, secured the first place in a Karate (70kgs) tournament, scheduled on 03^rd October 2025, organized by the Department of Physical Education, UoM, Mysuru.
