SANKRANTHI CELEBRATION

The Cultural Cluborganized the Sankranti Celebration on 16th January 2026, under the theme “Traditions & Togetherness.” The event aimed to celebrate Indian culture and foster a sense of unity among students and faculty members. The event featured a variety of cultural activities, including traditional games, festive dances, and melodious songs, which reflected the rich cultural heritage associated with the Sankranti festival. The Chief Guest, Dr.NanjayyaHonganuru, Professor, Department of Folklore, UoM, addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of preserving Indian traditions and cultural values among the youth. The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, creating a vibrant and joyful atmosphere on the campus.
