CAREER ORIENTATION PROGRAM ON BANKING SECTOR

The Department of Commerce and Management organized an awareness program on bank-related opportunities. The session was led by the regional branch of Indian Overseas Bank, Mysuru. The session emphasized the career prospects in the banking sector, with a particular emphasis on the IBPS route for bank recruitment, which encompassed an overview of the Local Bank Officer (LBO) position. Additionally, students were advised on the most effective precautionary measures and best practices to protect themselves from banking and recruitment-related fraud. The program was a valuable and informative initiative that increased students’ awareness of financial safety and banking careers.
