A SPECIAL LECTURE ON NAVIGATING MUTUAL FUNDS FOR SMART INVESTING
The Department of Commerce organized a special lecture programme on 11th February 2026 at the college, Mysuru, for the UG Commerce students. The programme focused on “Navigating Mutual Funds for Smart Investing”, a trending topic to be discussed, considering the uncertainties in the economy. The special lecture was an enlightening session on key financial concepts related to mutual funds and smart investment strategies. The speaker delivered an informative and engaging presentation explaining topics such as investment planning, opportunities in SIP (Systematic Investment Plans), types of mutual funds, and comparison with benchmark indices. The session helped students understand the practical aspects of investment and financial planning. The programme was highly interactive, allowing students to clarify their doubts through a question-and-answer session.
