INAUGURATION OF COMMERCE FORUM ANNUAL ACTIVITIES AND SPECIAL LECTURE ON CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

The Department of Commerce & Management inaugurated the Commerce Forum Annual Activities for the academic year, marking the commencement of a series of student-centric academic and professional development initiatives.

As part of the inaugural programme, a special lecture on “Emerging Trends in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)” was delivered by Mr. Basappa C. Salundi, Assistant Professor, Department of MBA, Maharani College, Mysuru.

 

The speaker emphasized that Corporate Social Responsibility is an organization’s commitment to contributing to social welfare while integrating social, environmental, and ethical values into its business practices. The session provided students with valuable insights into the evolving role of CSR in sustainable business development and responsible corporate governance.
