FD WORKSHOP ON OUTCOME-BASED EDUCATION

On 8th August 2026, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Hindustan College, Mysore, organized a one-day Faculty Development Workshop on the topic “Outcome-Based Education: CO, PO & PSO Mapping and Attainment.”

The session was led by Dr. Manohar N, Associate Professor and Vice Chairperson, School of Computing, Department of MCA, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus.

The workshop focused on Course Outcomes (CO), Programme Outcomes (PO), Programme Specific Outcomes (PSO), their mapping, and attainment. The session provided valuable insights into the effective implementation and assessment of Outcome-Based Education (OBE).

All faculty members of Hindustan College actively participated in the one-day workshop and benefited from the expert guidance and practical insights shared by the resource person. The programme enhanced the faculty members’ understanding of outcome-based teaching, curriculum mapping, and attainment analysis, contributing to the continuous improvement of academic quality and teaching-learning practices at the institution.
