BLOOD DONATION CAMP

The Youth Red Cross Unit, Hindustan College, Mysore, in association with Lions Blood Centre, Jeevadara, organized a Blood Donation Camp to create awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and encourage students and staff members to contribute towards saving lives.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and staff members. A team of doctors and medical staff from Lions Blood Centre, Jeevadara, conducted the necessary health check-ups and preliminary screening of the participants. Based on the medical assessment and blood tests, eligible students and staff members were permitted to donate blood.

The donors were provided with refreshments and certificates of appreciation as a token of recognition for their valuable contribution.

The camp was successfully conducted in a safe and organized manner and served as a meaningful initiative to promote the spirit of  community service among the students and staff of Hindustan College.
