CAREER READINESS – SOFT SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAMME

On 13th August 2026, the Training and Placement Cell, Hindustan College, Mysore, organized a Career Readiness – Soft Skills Training Programme for final-year students. The session was conducted by Ms. Sony Poovamma, Soft Skills Trainer and Head, Competence Academy, Mysore.

The programme focused on developing essential communication, confidence, interpersonal, presentation, and public-speaking skills required for academic and professional success. The resource person provided valuable insights and practical guidance on improving students’ communication abilities, building self-confidence, and developing a professional personality.

The students actively participated in various interactive activities and practical exercises. They also took part in anchoring the programme, which provided them with valuable practical exposure to stage confidence, public speaking, and effective communication.

The session was informative, interactive, and engaging, helping the final-year students understand the importance of soft skills in career development,  and placement readiness.
