Alumni Meet – 2019

Hindustan First Grade College had organized the First Alumni Meet on 28th December 2019. The Alumni meet was conducted in order to reconnect with the Alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements. A special welcome was extended to the First Batch of 2015-18 and Second batch 2016- 19 alumnus. The alumnus were received by the registration team and were taken on a campus tour where they revisited the familiar place they had studied and were shown the various developments that had taken place since then. The host of the event, Mr. Mohammed Shakeel, III B.Com invited the dignitaries to occupy the diaz. The Alumni Meet started with an invocation song by Mr. Jayakumar, II B.Com. Mr. Chandrashekar, III B.Com delivered the welcome address. Principal Dr. C J Priya, in her address updated the Alumni about the recent developments of the college and encouraged the alumni to share the expertise and best practices to their juniors. The Alumni Association was formed to foster a spirit of loyalty and to promote the ALUMNI MEET 2019 general welfare of the Institution. Mr. Sharath Kumar, alumni from the first batch 2017 was selected as the President of the Alumni Association. He is working as desired Sales Executive at Friendly Motors, Mysore. Mr. Rakshith, alumni from the second batch 2018 who is pursuing M.Com in Basudev Somani College, Mysuru was selected as the Vice President of Alumni Association. Ms. Rakshitha O S, Alumni from 2017 batch who is working as a Junior Assistant at Sri Kannika Parameshwari Co-operative Society, Mysore was selected as a Secretary of the Alumni Association. Five Directors of the Association were selected namely, Ms. Sowmyashree S, 2018 batch, pursuing MBA at SDMIMD College, Mysore, Mr. Kishan B G, 2017 batch, Senior Executive at Joy Allukkas, Mysuru, Ms. Pooja N, 2018 batch, Junior Accountant at Queens School of Design, Mysuru, Mr. Om Kishan S Jutur, 2018 batch, pursuing MBA in Vidhyavardhaka College, Mysuru and Mr. Srinivas M P, 2018 batch, pursuing MBA in MIT college, Mysuru. Principal and the staff members congratulated the members of the Alumni Association and wished the alumnus a grand success in their lives and in all their endeavours. Mr. Nagarjun, II BCA proposed the vote of thanks. He thanked the Alumni for responding to the invitation from college and being present for the Alumni Meet in spite of their busy schedule. At the end of the programme, games were conducted and refreshments were distributed among the alumnus, staff and students of HFGC.
