ILLUMINATION 2022 – STATE LEVEL INTER-COLLEGE LITERARY COMPETITION
On the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day, the Department of English organized Illumination 2022 – State-Level Inter College Literary Competition on 1st August 2022. The competition was organized to identify and nurture talents. An amazing platform was provided to the students to showcase their skills in various competitions like Short Story Writing, Turn Coat, and Poster making.
Students from multitudes of colleges in Mysuru like SBRR Mahajana First Grade College, Sapient College, Sree Cauvery First Grade College, Sree Cauvery PU College, MMK SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Gov College for Women, Maharani’s College, Government First Grade College, Siddhartha Nagar, etc. registered their names to take part in the competition.
The Chief Guest Dr. G Nataraju, Chairman, DOSR in English, Principal Dr. Priya, Asst. Professors Raghavendra C S and Ajay M along with staff and students jointly inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.

Poster Making
I Prize : Jyothi Lakshmi, SBRR Mahajana First Grade College, Mysuru.

III Prize : Charmine Joseph, MMK SDM College for Women, Mysuru.
The winners of the competition were awarded with cash prizes and certificates. The judges of the competition namely, Mr. Mahesh Nayak, Asst. Professor, Dept. of English, St. Joseph’s Women’s College, Mysuru, Mr. Viswanath Banjar, Asst. Professor, Dept. of English, Vidya Vikas First Grade College, Mysuru, Asst. Professors C Raghunandan, R D Sukshma, K V Savitha, and M Ajay along with the staff and students were present for the Valedictory Program.
