To commemorate Founder’s Memorial Day, Hindustan First Grade College and Orient Flights Private Limited had a small gathering in Visweswariah Hall on 14th February 2019.

On the 14th of February 2019, face painting and hair style competitions were held simultaneously, in which Ms. Vishnu Priya of 1st B.Com won in face painting & Ms. Shre Shakthy of 2nd B.C.A won in hair style competition.

The department of Computer Science released “TechZone” IT Magazine on the 13th of February 2019 in the presence of Dr. Suresha . S Chairman, Department of Computer Science, University of Mysore, followed by a seminar on “Searching: A philosophical thought” and addressed the gathering.

On the 13th of February 2019, the fireless aroma competition was held at which Ms. Keerthana & Mrs. Shilpa backed the winner prize by preparing coconut laddos & Veg Sandwitch. Ms. Tamannah & Ms. Rini, backed the runner up by preparing Papadi chaat, Rusk Laddos & Oreo O’zzz.

On the 12th of February 2019, the colourful Rangoli competition was held, in which Ms.Ramya of 1st B.Com backed the first place followed by Mrs. Shilpa of Final B.Com backing the second place. Meanwhile, the artistic Mehandi competition was held, in which Ms. Namratha of final year B.Com was awarded the winner.

The Department of Computer Science arranged an industrial visit to the students of I and II B.C.A, on the 9th of February 2019 to Infosys which has one of the best & attractive campus in the city of Mysore.

Airport Visit: The students of B.C.A were taken for the Orient Flights Aviation Academy, Hangar visit located at Mandakalli Airport, Mysuru on 4th of Februray 2019.

Mr.VIshnuvardhan.V.N & Tejasn.G.N of final B.Com secured first price in the event B’Quiz and Mr.Hemanth & Mr.Prajwal of II B.C.A won first place in coding event conducted by the Christ First Grade Colege on 4th February 2019.

A two Day trip to Wayanad, Withri and Calicut was organised by Commerce and Management students on 2nd and 3rd of February 2019.The students visited Edakkal Caves, Calicut beach, Pookode lake & Banasura Dam.
